Hi all,

Avery, your friendly neighborhood Kingdom Seneschal here.

I have gotten a few questions regarding the spreading virus and what the
SCA thinks regarding this.  Currently, not much.  We are at VERY early
stages, this is not something that is going to turn us into the Black Death
tomorrow.  Common Sense is the best defense against getting sick.  Just
like always.  So, with Gulf Wars coming up, a few reminders so we can all
have fun and not spread things...

1. Basic Hygiene is our friend.  WASH YOUR HANDS.  REGULARLY.  Seriously
people, this will help more than anything else.
2. Use hand sanitizer.  Wash your dishes and such.  Keep things cleaned,
again, regularly.
3.  If you feel sick, don't share your germs.  Stay home, it is ok to miss
a practice or an event, no one needs to prove how strong they are and
become a plague vector.  Do your friends a favor and keep your sickie to
yourself.  See a doctor, get healthy.  Then come back to play.

For now, these are the main things we can do.  Be reasonable, have common
sense, we will all be ok in the long run.  If things change, we will let
folks know.
