Just two weeks until the Medieval Fair Free Lecture Series resumes! Here's the lineup for this academic year.

Feb. 4: Jacob Lackner, OU & OSU OKC,  "Benjamin ibn Tudela" (a 12th century Jewish traveler and writer)
March 4: Erinn Gavaghan, School of Visual Arts, OU "Medievalist Obsessions in 19th-Century French Art"
April 8: Chelsea Silva, Department of English, OSU "Household Magic and Marvels in Medieval England"

The Medieval Fair Free Lecture Series is cosponsored by the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies University of Oklahoma.
Come learn more about the middle ages just for the fun of learning! No papers, no test, just interesting information about life long ago.

Face coverings are strongly recommended in indoor public settings by the CDC. Pioneer Libraries are following CDC recommendations (https://www.cdc.gov/.../vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html... ) related to facial coverings. The university encourages masking indoors. The university strongly encourages masking for all individuals in high-density settings, such as classrooms and at special events.
