Attached is the poster for the next Medieval Fair / CMRS talk --a jump into the (relative) present from the Middle Ages, via Prof. Justin Sider's talk on "Victorian Medievalism and the Pleasure of the Past." The talk will look at the way artists and writers like William Morris, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, and Christina Rossetti borrowed the artistic forms of the past and put them to modern purposes.
