NR - Bye, for now...

I'm stepping off-list for a bit. I will be back though.

Two things before I sign off tonight:

1) The "plan" I distilled from earlier conversations on NRT and NRW
(with a couple of suggested modifications) will be emailed and
mailed to the seneschals and landed nobility of our region sometime
next week. After I have a chance to contact the Northern Regional
Seneschal. While I tried to distill what I saw as the trends in the
conversation, it is a proposal coming from me. When your seneschal
gets a copy, please visit with them and register your opinions.
Please disagree with me if you do. Please get those not involved on
the list involved and included in the discussion.

2) The discussions of the last week have been wonderful. If any
doubt that a principality can be a positive thing for this region,
then just look at the very cordial and healthy comments, discussions,
and research which have been raised in just the discussion of names
and arms and raptors and griffins and... Whether we become a
principality or not, the discussion of the topic has raised awareness
about the region and has encouraged research and questions. We're
better for the discussion. (I think most people know I'm
pro-principality but...) If we've generated this much interest and
comment from the idea then how much more can come from the
implementation.

I'll unsubscribe later tonight but wanted to fire this message off
while I had a chance.
