Greetings from the staff of the Estrella War Children’s Center,

Once again this year’s Estrella War is proud to sponsor supervised
children’s activities for those age four and up who attend the war!  We will 
have two areas set-up for our programs:
The Children’s Corner, for children age 4-9, and a Youth Center, for
ages 10-16, will be a great places to make friends, learn new things, and 
just have fun.

The younger children will be able to play games, make arts and crafts,
listen to stories, and enjoy outdoor activities.  Those over the age of nine 
will be able to attend hands on classes in the Youth Collegium, as well as 
participate in fighting tournaments, arts and sciences activities, and other 
entertainments.  Each group can
participate in special activities like scavenger hunts, parades, field trips 
and other fun outings.

The outdoor area of the Youth Center will be open for TEENS only, from
8:00 PM-12:00 AM and, additionally, we are happy to provide an extra place 
for parents to sit and tend their children who are too young to stay at the 
Children’s Corner.  The Mothers’ Circle will be the
perfect place to change diapers, feed babies, or just relax and enjoy

With such an ambitious schedule of activities, we are in need of a
variety of donations in order to facilitate all the events we have
planned.

We would like basic arts & craft supplies like ribbon, sequins, jewels,glue, 
glitter,beads, clay, and markers.  We also need more specialized items such 
as,plastic stemware(champagne glasses) ¼” wooden dowels, citrus fruits, 
whole cloves, brown craft paper, long
stemmed silk flowers, handy wipes, firewood, drink cups, raffle prizes, 
handmade/homemade items, scissors, rope, duct tape, disposable table cloths, 
paper towels, spoons, as well as, assorted snack foods and drinks.  If you 
have children, and plan on bringing them to war, please take a few moments 
to see what you might be able to donate to help augment our supplies.

If you have a special skill you would like to share with the children,
such as juggling, storytelling, face painting, etc, please let us know
that as well.
