[NR] SCA liscence plates & Sales Tax for Event Issues

Greetings!
   It's probably too late to get such a measure going
for this session, but if folks are interested, I know
and come into contact with some of the members of the
legislature, and would be happy to pitch the subject.
   About the measure that will (if I have heard
correctly and the bill has not since changed,)
eliminate the sale tax permit requirement that has
been so onerous to groups in the region, it is still
alive. The legislative status shows that a Senate
conference was granted as of April 8.
   I will try to find out more and post more in the
next 10 days. If I undertand correctly, it has passed
along so far, but has undegone change(s). It has been
indicated to me there is a very nice chance for it to
gain approval.
