Now, see, I took what he said to be "Since the meetings are informal, any time you get together with other people and talk about it, you're having one."


The corollary would be "Hold one whenever you like. Make it friendly and interesting, and you're likely to draw in other similarly-inclined people. Just don't interfere with other people who are doing other things, at least against their will."

So, your Excellencys are saying that unless a person can make a Friday evening meeting their opion does not count. 
If the naming of the Northern region is important enough, then it should be important enough to take time to talk about it in the Daylight hours on Saturdays of events. 
If we are not willing enough to take part of our Sat. for this then maybe we are not ready for this step.
