NK - Boot to the Head

I'm looking to buy a new pair of boots that I can wear in the SCA.
Right now I have some cheap black cowboy boots I bought at Drysdales.
I've checked the Army Surplus at 41st & Memorial. I don't want 
mocassin boots. Any recommendations? Local only.

Price isn't as much a consideration but that they look vaguely period
or more SCA suitable than cowboy boots or mocassins.
