I know you all don't hear from me often as my time is often limited these
days; however, I do want to jump in on this one. I am inclined to agree
with Rowan about changing this in mid-stride. Especially after others have
come up with a design that works and has been approved by everyone who can
say no to it. I would be curious where or by whom the plans have been
changed.
Personnaly I rather like the idea of a more early period structure. I think
it will be more accurate to reality and different from the norm. I don't
think there is anything wrong with different. Also a sallie (sp) port is a
sallie port. A gate is a gate. We have used everything from 2 trees to hay
bales to 2 fighters standing opposite one another represent gates, ports,
and windows so I personnly don't think the type of "castle" matters that
much for training and practice, only that it serves the purpose.
My 2 cents worth, In Service,
Sir Balvin

there isnt really talk of starting all over again, is there?
i sure hope not.
i agree w/ you about the dis service for work already done and the materials
thing is going to be a problem no matter the design.
i wish i had a truck or trailer, but alas i have neither. i can fit boards
of no more than 6 feet long through the center of my car. but not more than
a dozen more or less. no very cost effective in transporting that way. as
i have never been to gulf wars, i have no idea what that looks like, but why
would we want something like someone elses. Who has the final say in this
matter? do i need to write someone? How much of the materials have we
already collected?
