NK - DEMO ALERT! Good opportunity - Youth Boffer.Rapier!

Got the goods for a demo coming up FRIDAY, APRIL 28. This is for a cub scout 
troop, and they are really looking forward to having us!
I will need a preliminary show of hands for those who can come, since they 
will provide a party sub and drinks for us to eat.

PLACE: Carnagie Elementary School, 4309 East 56th Street

TIME: They will start picnicing about 5:30, activities begin about 6:30

DATE: Friday, April 28th

WE NEED: Fighters, youth marshalls, heralds, bards, garb mistress/masters
and anyone ready for a good time with some awfully nice folks!


They will have a room in the school available to get into garb, and or 
fighting gear, in case the time creates a tight window of opportunity to get 
there.
The cubs are getting ready to "cross over" to become scouts, and would like 
to have us be part of the ceremony that evening, if possible, to perhaps 
"dub" them or something.
They will have 5 activity areas (what organizational skills!)  1) for shield 
making, and heraldry.  2) costume creating .  3) outdoor games for the kids. 
4) bard station for story telling and singing 5) fighting demos and 
interactive youth/boffer-rapier demos with willing young folks and their 
parents. A VERY excellent opportunity to add to our ranks!!
They should be finished  8-8:30-ish, so you still have some Friday nite to 
have your own fun!
They are just so eager to have us, and it promises to be a good time for us 
too/
