I wanted to take a moment to do a write up on Bob's Tulsa seminar. This is the second seminar of Bob's I have been to in the last year. The first was a one day at Denton TX. hosted by Russ Mitchell, and then the one we just hosted at Gibson's Martial Arts. For those of you who have never been to one of his seminars, make the effort to attend the next one that is near you. If one is not hosted in your area, host it. Bob has a firm grasp on the fighting concepts of Fiore di Liberi. His presentation is orderly, systematic and yet fluid as he progresses through wrestling, dagger, arming and long sword. Bob takes the writings of di Liberi and presents them as a system that can be learned quickly by anyone who wants to learn (though it will take years to perfect). Since the denton seminar which was also excellent, Bob has improved his presentation. I am sure i will continue to improve more as he continues to work with it. This is a must see event for any scholar of medieval fighting.
Regards, Jon
