[Northkeep] Serger recommendations anyone?

I have a Pfaff and I love it.

But there are many good models available in many brands. If budget is a
concern (and isn't it always for all of us?) you might consider getting a
better quality machine that is a used or trade-in machine.

Some things that may play an important part in your decision as to which
machine to get: ease of threading the machine and needles (this can be VERY
frustrating if you have a difficult machine); ease of changing presser feet;
and ease of changing needles and blades.

Check out the various machines at sewing stores around town and ask them to
show you how to thread the machine etc. then try it yourself. If it makes
you nuts, that could mean that particular machine is not for you.

Good luck.
