[Northkeep] Northkeep needs you

Greetings,
Northkeep's hard working Seneschal the Lady Faolan is stepping down next
month. Faolan has done a great job but she is ready for a rest. Before
Faolan can step down people need to apply for her office. To date I, as the
Northern Regional Seneschal, have received NO applications. Surely there is
some one out there who wants to be Seneschal? If you would like to apply
please get a copy of the Application for Office here:

Fill out all of the information on the application including:
name, both SCA and legal
address
home phone
email
SCA membership number and expiration date
You might also want to write a letter of introduction telling why you want
to be Seneschal and listing any qualifications you feel might make you a
good candidate for the position.

Then make three copies of those documents and include with each copy a copy
of your drivers license, and your SCA membership card (front and back). Give
one copy of those papers to Faolan (the local Seneschal), one to their
Excellencies Ainar and Mercedes, and one to me (Ian, the Northern Regional
Seneschal).

Being Seneschal is a job that requires you to coordinate the meetings,
officers, events, and activities of the Barony it can be a very rewarding
experience. Being Seneschal is a serious job but if you do it right it can
also be fun. If you are an organized, diplomatic, enthusiastic person, who
can speak in public then you would be perfect for the job. If you are some
or none of those things you still might be perfect for the job...we wont
know until you apply.
