So some of you might have heard already that my Fast.. I mean my Jetta's life came to an end last week. (one of those "it happens" kinds of things) Everyone was just fine it was just a hard enough hit for the insurance company to total it. YAY! (I mean that really, YAY! They gave me what I paid for the car 2.5yrs ago) 
 
So. Deciding that I really needed to do things like perhaps take my own damn tent poles to an event with me and other such things (and despite my kicking and screaming, the need for a soccer-mom car finally won out) I went a-looking for something to replace my Fast... I mean my Jetta. I drove car after car, suv after suv, and a truck or two. Spent night after night surfing the web for that vehicle that would make me smile and grin when I pulled up onto the BA and took that curve near Sheridan. Nothing sparked me. Nothing turned me on like my Fast. I missed my Fast. 
 
Then it happened. It was there, like a shining beacon of light riding the dark waves* of the internet car listing website. The answer to my prayers! A Fast...I mean, Jetta VR6 WAGON! It is white in color and has a very nifty leather interior and heated seats and all kinds of nifty gadgets and stuff. There is room inside for 5 to sit comfortably and plenty of cargo space for eventing, can even put the tent poles up on top. Oh and yeah- it's still fast. Real Fast.
 
*Footnote: Riding of waves is meant to be metaphorical ONLY. Jetta's do not swim well. I tested this theory and proved it unarguably.
