[Northkeep] A note on moderation...

You aren't being hateful.

I didn't threaten anyone.  I simply stated a truth.  I am very busy and don't get to check the queue as often as people would like (hence the reason it took until this evening to clear this message), so moderation would shut down the list for large periods of time.  I'm sorry if that was unclear.

Personally, I couldn't care less if people want to talk about whether their children should be watched by other people, or why they should not.  Personally, I think it's a valid conversation to be having, but that's me.

When I took over this list, I stated the only reasons I felt were valid for me to be stepping in were aggressive innuendo and rumor, and major flamage (and I draw that line pretty liberally).  Since then there have been times that I have poked my nose in when asked because people were being reasonably upset by something on the list (for example, spam).  The basics have not changed, however.
