[Northkeep] Winterkingdom

"Ok guys, sounds like through no fault of anyone, Winterkingdom is hosed this year. Instead of the running amok, let it go and concentrate on chemin noir's event and queens champion. We have enough on the plate without the stress of a busted event."

Respectfully, I disagree here. We have been cleared to use an awesome venue on two dates which are not totally out of the question for a very low price in my opinion. Let's not give up yet. Can't we work really hard for BOTH events? I know most of you are from Tulsa, and are therefore not familiar with Grace. This church holds events often. OWU has used it in the past to host banquets for groups of several hundred. It is a LARGE, beautiful, fairly new facility that I think would make a wonderful venue for Winterkingdom. I've got the administrator, whose last week is this week, willingly working hard for us to be able to have this as an option. I'm sure he could use his time for himself rather than do this for us. The call was put out for help, people are answering, the incoming Baron says he wants to do it---Why give up? Not to get all idealistic, but there's no honor in that. Let's make it happen whatever facility we end up using.
