That same battery, with some Ansteorran ingenuity, can also be used to jump start your car,  if needed.

A deep cycle battery, like that used on a boat, and a converter can provide the 
ower needed. Not sure of the life span of the battery charge, but I bet 
nterstate Battery could tell you.
