Just to follow through,, *my* mundane "Celtic" ancestors were of the Icenii, Brigantii, Dubunni, Damnonii and Robogdii tribes, and did *not*  speak the same languages (Diarmaid's were pretty much the Blanii).  Herself's were the Belgae and Treveri, plus heaven knows what west Irish tribe (probably the Auteni or the Uterni, who were probably once the same tribe).
