Well I have been given some good ideas and some they already do like the pancake breakfast.  I think some of it comes down to marketing the place.  I had breifly thought about the scouts doing something there and did not even think about homeschoolers.  So we are getting some ideas that could be benifitial.  Thanks for them.  If you have more please feel free to come to their meeting or talk directly to my dad or myself at Tuesday practice.  As always you can email as well.  Thanks again.

I do not believe that membership rates could be increased.  The VFW is a national organization so is unable to raise its membership rates for a local group.

I think that the large open spaces and the kitchen may be the key.  It would be some work but have they ever thought of pancake breakfasts, fish fries and other things like that?  It is possible to make decent money just doing that 4 times a month.  Pancakes are cheap to make and at $4-$5 a head, a stack and a cup o' joe will fill up most folks and have a very low overhead.

A fish fry is possible but probably not as often (depending upon how many fisherman there are and how good they are)
