Okay, ours are the kind you suspend, they don't float.  They may not be 
quite as cool that way, but could still be attractive hung from the 
trees.  Or can they be suspended?

Or conversely, there are staked ones you can get at Walmart that are only a couple of bucks each and you can stake them in the ground early that day so they get a good charge and glow most of the night.
