What now?

Heraldic submissions for branch names and devices must be accompanied by a
petition signed by the members affirming their support for the chosen name
and device. The Northern Regional Seneschal will be contacting the northern
group seneschals with information about getting this petition underway.
Everyone is able to sign this petition, regardless of membership status.


I want to personally thank all of those that helped with this endeavor:
Master Ainar for entrusting the process to me; Centurion Charles for being
supportive but figuring out when to stop pestering me; Master Etienne,
Master Tadhg, and Baron Donnchadh for helping to hammer out the set of
possibilities, fact checking, and general sanity-keeping; Mistress Gunnvor,
Mistresses Lillia and Alys of the East Kingdom, and Mistress ffride of the
Kingdom of Lochac for letting me pick their brains for name research;
Master Reis for the ranked-choice poll coding; and Master Cassius for
rushing last-minute artwork for me that looks absolutely fantastic. (This
is where I'm sure I've forgotten someone, and if so I sincerely apologize!
Do remind me when it's most embarrassing.) And, of course, I must thank
everyone who voiced opinions (positive _or_ negative!) or just general
support -- you all participated, and that's part of what makes Ansteorra
great.
