I am new to the list so an introduction is felt to be in order..
I am Reahnna Blackmoore.Late of Clan Blackmoore(there ain't no more of us
around). I am hoping to get my Yurt built sometime this year,actually it
might be a combination of two nationalities...Anglo/european and
mongolian...my Significant other is of welsh persona , and I have been of
Viking/scottish persona for a while, but would like to try Mongolian for a
time...I have always been fascinated with them..:)   I am going to enjoy
learning more about the mongols way of life as the list goes on...I have
recreated the pattern for a flapfront coat w/horseshoe cuffs....for living
in the south west it can be made of light cotton and instead be a summer
tunic....I have some copies of National Geographics on the mongolian way of
life....one dated fron 1962...the other two are the ones on Ghengis Khan and
his timeperiod, but have wonderful pictures of their clothes and yurts...
the issues that I have are;

I had to dig through the many piles of  NG's to get these ones...:) I love
NG don't you??

and to think they live pretty much the same way they did when Ghengis was
Khan....
