I've never made a tent with provision for a stove, so I'm not sure how
to go about it.  However, there is a Yahoo group on Medieval
Encampments, (MedievalEncampments-subscribe at yahoogroups.com), which has
had frequent discussions on places to buy canvas, what types are
available, etc.
 
I don't recall discussion of provision for stoves and vents, but if you
subscribe and ask the question there, I'm sure someone can help you.

	Welp lets start a discussion.  So where does everyone buy their
canvas? We are making a tent ourselves so it meets all my needs (since I
am in a wheelchair). So how do you make a stove pipe slot and make it
where it wont catch fire (and yes even with the flame retardant.. we
know others have made them and our G.P. medium tent has them.
