DsD, that pretty good!!!!!!!!!, but true.

The place near the park is called the Homestead. It is really nice, the
food is Houston 3 star quality, but expensive. $35-40 per person with out wine.

The Junction is good and basic. Moderate price at night, $20 per person.

You might check out the Saltgrass in the Woodlands. While not real quite
(kinda noisy), the steaks are good. Price range $30 per person w/o wine.

Also, in Conroe is Steak & Ale. In the $30 per person range, but they do
have booths that are some what secluded and it can have a quite romantic
atmosphere.

Next door the Steak & Ale (and owned by the same people) is The Outback.
Fair steaks, but really high noise floor (lots of noise).

In Huntsville, there are few really good restaurants. We are culinary
deprived. (Except for the GREAT experiences performed at Lizard Keep)

There are lots of other places in Houston. But, don't know if you want to
go that far.

Good luck....BTW, The Homestead is where Kezia and I go each year on our
anniversary. (26 in June, 2001)
