[Ravensfort] Letter to the Barony

Pray unto all, comes greetings from HL Niklas Vasilevich and HL Kezia Ki-Barta.

Recent events have brought us into the light of being chosen by TRM Duncan
& Larrissa of Ansteorra as the next Baron and Baroness of The Great Barony
of Raven's Fort.

We are honored that we have been asked to assume this duty, following in
the foot steps of Their Excellences David st David and Chrystal Ariana
MacRuari and Their Excellences Sir Kief av Kiersted and Alex.

We have many plans we wish to share with the Barony and want to hear the
ideas and suggestions of ALL in the Barony.

Our tent will always open to friends and enemies alike, for we will be the
Baron and Baroness for ALL in Raven's Fort.

 From TRM's and us, We want to thank those that stepped forward and offered
themselves as candidates for the baronial positions.

We echo TRM's word that Raven's Fort was blessed in having a wide range of
choices in this decision and it was very, very, very difficult for TRM's to
make a final decision.

However,  the choice has been made by the Crown of Ansteorra and we need to
move forward in life with the work of the Barony, the study and
participation in the "Dream" we know as the SCA.

Coming very quickly upon us, will be Defender of the Fort 2001 and the
stepping down of TE David and Chrystal and our investiture.

Lord Arturus has stepped forward to be the Steward of the event. He will
need much help to make the event possible. Currently, his most pressing
need is a Feast Steward. Those that are interested in this task and others,
please contact Arturus.

Following Defender, We will be holding a number of round table discussions
for gaining input into the goals and path of the Barony for the years to
come. ALL will be heard, ALL will be given due consideration. Then plans
for the future of the Barony will be made.

We ask that all come together, work together, play together and grow
together as the Barony of Raven's Fort moves into a new age and a new era
of it's life.
