RF - fighter practice

Aaaahhs! The woes of Fighter Practice!
I think that rotating the practices between Huntsville, Conroe and the
Woodlands would be confusing, hard to schedule and advertise and too
complicated for a newcomer to follow. We need a date and place that always
remain the same so that people can find us easily. But this does not mean
that EVERY practice every week has to be at the same place. My suggestion
is this:
1)encourage weekly private practices. New fighters are sometimes more
comfortable in a private setting at first and more seasoned fighters do not
always want everybody to see them practicing their new tricks... "Private"
practices can also be much more flexible to schedules and places.
2)Hold a monthly mini-tourney with all the trappings once a month, always on
the same sunday at the Gazebo. The Gazebo is a very public place everyone
can find even with rudimentary directions. It also provides a good scenic
surrounding not overwhelmed by modern mundanity. This is the time for
recruiting and showing off what we've all learned in the past month.
3)every three months hold a full practice with archery and siege weapons
practice at the site. This date can be more flexible as it only happens
every quarter and there is plenty of time to organize activities and to
contact people.
Think about it. It combines all of the suggestions, it's flexible and is
easy to explain and advertise....
