you bastards want to run shit, and on YOUR terms. then keep on doing it
yourself.     i'll be there with my 8 bucks and expectations of what's worth
8 bucks    deliver or see attendance drop further
why is it the fault of the paying public that attendance has dropped off to
damn near nill??????    your attempts to amuse yourselves at OUR expense
have failed....
your group has made it abundantly clear in the past that this is YOUR site
and YOUR barony and event's will be run YOUR way.
or YOU won't support them without bitching a blue streak.
and causing the lack of support your experiancing NOW!
i think we will just attend and pay our way.
and wait for change        or we'll let YOUR barony DIE! it's slow death and
rise from it's ashes.
we can't start our own group without YOUR approval
so we'll let you die.... and THEN do it.
that's MY plan
OR you can shut up and let others do what you had the oppertunity to do.
do it for themselves. withOUT your interfeance! and let them garner their

the question IS WHY does he not want the job?

did you ever think your not getting answers to your calls for officers
because the people your asking don't want to work FOR YOU! or WITH you? or
berta or Gwynn or any of the others that expect us to take up an office and
have to listen to YOU people order us around.
we are not your puppets     we are adult people.
FULLY GROWN with our OWN ideas and ways of doing things.
and we are sick of your ownership of the SCA in general.
i've been in this barony for TEN YEARS.
and your answer to this is prolly "well i've been here since it began"

and you'll fail to see the real issue,

TEN YEARS!             and what is the payoff for the investment?

sorry  i don't have another DECADE to SPARE waiting for APES to lose their
tails.... i really don't see the point after this shit.
i tried and was rebuffed ... those who know me and were watching have no
wish to do the same (they saw what it cost me) and they won't!
your only hope is that the "new managment" sign we shall shortly hang up
really IS NEW managment! or your barony is doomed.
it will die because of lack of intrest.
the signs are there already
no intrest in offices or the "trappings" of Baronial affairs
low attendance at meetings AND EVENTS.
when people can't come out to party without being GROUSED at by busy
bodies... they find other parties to go to.
this whole BARONY thing? what does it DO for US? is the question going
round.
what do WE care if KIEF is KINGDOM herald? what do WE care if "the barony
holds all the offices in the southern region?? will it COST LESS or MORE to
go to the stones???    and if your bitching about how WE don't CARE about
the sca! and how WE don't CARE about the Barony!
your wrong....
we care.           we care about having a good time   AND THAT'S ABOUT IT
                  the sca will continue without our caring who is in the
OFFICES. their will allways be someone with the ambition to be political to
fill that seat and feel superior because of it.
will their always be the stones?
NO there WON'T    the land could be taken from our use tomorrow.

it's NOT ours!         so getting all attached to it is silly really.
and anyone who does get all misty about it is setting themselves up for
heartbreak some day.

i have learned from my absence from your "hallowed" presence inner circle
people. and what i have learned is your not as special as i once wanted to
think you.
in fact your as big or bigger losers than ME.
your just people.
and therefor    not really worth the effort of spirit i once put into you.
  i don;t care anymore if you ever understand me.
it's no longer required
i no longer need to REALLY understand YOU.
