Greetings,

Having just returned from a week in Trimaris, I haven't kept up on things
and am a bit late inquiring... what have you been working on this month?

I have been knitting and working on a translation of an article. I have also
aquired a few books (what else is new?)... one in particular is _Lichens of
North America_ . It is a wonderous book (some 800 pages with color
pictures throughout), and very helpful in identifying dye producing lichen.
I have been able to identify 2 or 3 in my parent's acreage. Very exciting.
It has pictures, descriptions, and chemical tests for identification. I'll have
to bring it to a few meetings for you to enjoy it... anyone interested should
contact me, it is extremely heavy and not likely to get toted around execpt
when wanted.

I have also learned to spin silk, as of last month. I am still practicing, but
it is not as hard as imagined.

On a personal note, I am happy to announce my betrothal as of Wednesday.
I am sure nobody is surprised, but I didn't want anyone thinking I was
keeping it a secret. :)

Regards,
-Jacinth-
