Not much in line with Period SCA stuff with this episode, but I thought
I'd throw it in just as a compliment to the recent posts.  Aside from
the origins of the word 'crap' there really is nothing period to this
one, so I'll leave it at that.

 

The episode does dispel some popular modern beliefs, so next time you
are asked which is period, "Prince in the privy?" or "King in the
crapper?", of the two you will know which is the right answer.
