Vivat to David Saint David of the Tractor for making short work of the
fallen tree wood after it was cut up. His holy tractor also pushed brush up
into the bonfire and cut the grass on and around the list field... and
around the bonfire... and other places around. But then he was gone. There
was speculation that he really was never there at all and that it was his
saintly specter riding high on the wheeled work horse that had done the
deeds. You know how mysterious those saints can be.

Vivat also to everyone that showed to work. It was a fairly small crew
because of unavoidable conflicts and Pennsic, but all that showed (most on
both days) worked hard and got a lot done. Swinecamp and the rest of the
site have a look of rejuvenation. Clean grounds, fresh paint, neat
stacks... There is still much to be done but there is an eagerness to work
and laughter in the air.

And lastly, Vivat for the effort that the cooks made. It was all very good
and more than enough for everyone. The cold chicken and other leftovers
were a lifesaver on Sunday afternoon.

All in all a very productive weekend. Many thanks for the enjoyment I,
personally, received from it. Good friends are a wonderful thing.

Pax,
Marivs
