Thanks for the tips! Don't know exactly how many will be there, but will add a few more spuds to the pile & go with that.

I use unsweetened apple sauce in place of oils & eggs when baking cakes, breads & such. I recently used a can of pumpkin with one box of devil's food cake mix, nothing else... It is really, really good & low fat. Weight Watcher's gives one point per cupcake. That's really good, low points & great taste to boot! Hope to have enough time to make some for Thursday.

  regards,

  Yoz!
I usually use 10 lbs on wednesdays for the 16 to 20 crowd.
That's just taters as a side, nothing else.
That's about 1/2 lbs per person, so divide that by the total number of sides we are expecting ( yours, mine, and Gwynneth so far) and multiply that number by the number of people expected. Then add a couple of servings to be safe!
Also found that plain yogurt is a great low fat substitute for milk and butter when you do the mushing thing... And gives it a bit of a zing which kind of wakes up the taste buds.
Hope this helps!
Dom

Baroness Fionna and her wonderful Lord Ivan will not be able to attend. they are on a CRUISE! I hope that they have a wonderful time!

We have our Mongolian gift exchange this Thursday and our Yule feast and revel as well. We have many items that the good folks of the fort are bringing to the feast. Please read them below and bring some thing not listed to add to the table for all to enjoy.

Please do not bring any adult beverages to drink as it is not legal to consume them at the fire station.

  So who is bringing what?:

Lady Klar is bring a Chocolate or Lemon Cake.

Lady Love is bring a Lemon Chicken Dish.

Lord Erich is bring a Dessert, (a cake I think, could be wrong,
I just know its a dessert).

Lord Malcom is bringing one batch of Homemade (Chocolate

Baron Brian will bring some roast turkey and maybe some
smoked brisket, paper trays and cups and napkins.

Some one may want to bring plastic ware, more drinks and ice.
Some mashed potatoes or turnips would be grand! Don't forget the gravy! Lets add to this list!

Lady Ayla, Amelia and I are looking forward to seeing every body there!
P.S. Don't forget your wrapped gift for the gift exchange!
