[Ravensfort] Folk Life Festival update

Greetings everyone,

   I just spoke with Patrick Nolan, director of
the Sam Houston Museum and this is what he said,
and I paraphrase...

   Tonight they are having a board member meeting
concerning the festival. There are a couple of
board members who have raised the issue of the
SCA not being within the period of Sam Houston
and the aim of the Folk Life Festival. 

   However, Patrick feels that once they discuss
it, they will be ok with the SCA participating.
This all means that there is a chance that we
will not participate in this. Also, if we do get
to participate, we will have to be da*n good and
show them that the decision to let us was not
wasted. I will keep you all informed as I get the
information.
