[Ravensfort] My Vote Regarding The Bees

Beekeeper? Ok, well I haven’t killed anything, yet.

The dais is constructed of 16 landscape timbers spiked together into a 8’ foot square box. There is a interior framework for decking support and 2”x6” decking nailed to the structure. The deck is roughly 12” off the ground. The bees are exiting from between the deck boards and from a small opening at one corner, which is their primary access.

Essentially it is a large enclosed box setting directly on the ground. It is heavy. I’ve moved it several times. It’s going to take about six people to pick it up.

I’m not going to be one of them.

Again, these are bumble bees, not honeybees. I do not know if the hive is in the dais or in a burrow in the ground under the dais. There were about two hundred swarming the area the other day when I riled them up.

I’ll be happy to assist you in any way possible from the sealed cab of my truck.

When would you like to come out?

Regards,
DsD

As a beekeeper Iam very upset that you killed these bees. I may have been able to get them out if it was accessible area.
Bees are having a hard enough time survivng in the wild right now and they do polinate food crops!
