So glad y'all are back home and doing well.  We all look forward to seeing you both.

I believe it was decided at Populace ( by those in attendance ) that the whole tree should come down.  Even if the trunk is not completely cleared by Defender, the branches can be taken care of and the danger removed.

Are you sure about the work weekend "this" Saturday ?  The Quoth and announcements at Populace are saying work weekends on the 22-23 and 29-30.  Are we adding to that or making adjustments ?  Either is good.  Just let us know.

I have made arrangements to plug in my van and spend the night Friday and Saturday in Huntsville so I can be up and ready to help when you earlybirds are around.  I am dropping off my chainsaws for tune ups today.

        Hello everyone, Thanks so much for your thoughts, prayers etc. for Pace. We got home around 7pm Thursday night. He is on mashed potatoes, soups etc. with solid foods coming in a few days. Only a few twinges so far! We are taking it a day at a time. It is wonderful and heartwarming to see how many friends he has who care about him. Again it shows me how awesome of a Baronial family we are. He said he will get to his emails in a few days and get caught up on things.
            Now to the dreaming tree. We need to make some decisions on what to do about it. It is a massive tree and dangerous to have around. It is sad to see the big crack in it and know it is doomed. I am not sure what discussion was held about it so I may be repeating what was said at Populace. We need to get everyone available out this Sat. with chain saws to take it down and at least cut up the part that will fall on the list field. The other side could stay with crime scene tape around it if need be because it will hopefully fall towards the north side of the area. That is if we don't get enough help to do away with the whole thing. 
          Pace and I volunteer to paint the dressing room this weekend. I think it would look nice to match the color of the showers so Brian do you have the beige paint?  And that would be a good job for him with no lifting or stretching etc. 
          It is almost just a month till our event. PLEASE come out and help with this tree etc. this weekend. The wonderful handful of people who have been coming every time need more hands and muscles to get 'er done  I will have cold watermelon and snacks!!
          And I still need someone to pick up the roadside Friday afternoon and check on it Sat. am.
