I would love to get my hands on some caliche clay/rock. I think that, but
100% sure that caliche is a clay but growing up in central Texas we always
called it caliche rock. I am thinking it would make a very wonderful white.
I have not gotten to plan matter as pigment as of yet, other then making
charcoal. I due plan trying local plant matter in the same way that they
used plants for pigment in period.
