[Ravensfort] Fw: the Invisible Newsletter

There is certainly everything good about those who step up to the plate to do
things, however ,when problems arise and are of a continuing nature, the
optimal solution is to be able to deal face to face in order to correct/rectify
the situation/problem, barring that, telephonic conversation and the last resort
being purely email or texting.   I agree that it is not easy to take & hold an
office of any kind.  I have done my share through the years.  You may ask why
don't I now?  Because I know that I do not have the time needed to even
adequately devote to an office at this time. As a result, I do not take one.   I
fully support any and all who do step up to the plate even though it may not
always be said.  I will say that I can appreciate what was attempted to be
done, even though it did not get resolved.  The attempt was worthy.  Take care
not to lambaste folk "covertly on any list.  It is never secret, polite or
kind.  In some of this I may be considered as having been unkind.  I own that.
Others who have indulged themselves in the same action should own up to theirs
as well.

'Nuff said, I think.

I for one have to say, kudos to you Kelley for taking on the endeavor!!  We have
far too many people who dont step up to do some of the things that make this
organization work, and for you to come in, new, to take on the endeavor of
putting together a newsletter, it is not a small chore, and you have done a
great job of it!

Its much easier for folks to criticize the job than for them to volunteer to do
it themselves.  Far too often the same people are doing the jobs over and over
again, and it is refreshing to get a new face and new perspectives on an old
subject.  You just keep your focus on being a student, do the best you can with
your other activities, and keep becoming the great person that you are!  :)

Maybe some of the folks that are silent partners in this group would like to a
step to helping us get further along.  We have many opportunities in the Barony
for folks to step up and take on a more active role in the group, rather than to
sit back and criticize.  We dont do it alone, it takes all of us to make this
work.

Cheers!
