In a message dated 97-04-16 00:30:26 EDT, you write:
<< When an item is needed for the feast, be it
cooking, serving or storage items or actuall food, a request is made
for the funds, a "cash dispersment" form is filled out and signed by
the recipient and seneshcal (to show that it was approved), and the
money is made available. >>
In our Shire (Abhain Ciach Ghlas) we either pre-price the feast and a check
is issued to the feastocrat or the feastocrat buys the food and presents the
reciepts to the Autocrat for reimbursement. He/she is also responsible for
contacting the shire herbalists and shire gardeners for those types of needs
when gardening season is in, and makes any arrangements that may be needed
for the upkeep of any live animals if the date of purchase and butchering are
not the same. Either way eventually the reciepts must be presented for a
final accounting. The feastocrat has total say in menu planning, presentation
etc.with no other permissions and approval needed, so long as budget is
maintained or not drastically deviated from.
