SC - Vege dishes

I have been served 'saffron fennel' a few times, and enjoyed it. I think 
it is basically fenel bulbs chopped up and cooked with wine, saffron and 
a little honey and cloves/ginger.

I don't know of any documentation, but I would be equally hard put to 
fault it for anything.
