SC - pie crusts--??

Mercedes, my boyfriend's Mother showed me the same thing and she is from Utah, so I don't think it is a southern thing.  My Grandmother, who is from Arkansas (no hic jokes, please ;D ) makes hers with hot water instead of the cold called for in my Betty Crocker cookbook.  So, personally I think that pie crusts are just a matter of taste.  Find one you like (or don't like, but other people do, in your case) and stick with it!  

I use the Pilsbury boxed crusts usually.  They taste great and I get plenty of compliments on them.  If I am making from scratch, my boyfriend likes the vinegar recipe.
