Have you tried parsnips with them or maybe even a variety of root
vegetables. I have seen mention of "take rootes....". Many times if I'm
short something, I'll throw someother similiar thing in to eke it out or to
try it out.... I would think that our forebears were just as curious or
curiouser.... I remember the odd quote...
"It was a brave man who ate the first oyster. "  They get my vote since I
can't really stand them.  (But I like clams)
