I  strongly suspect it isn't period- a crushed fruit drink might be
period, but I figure the sugar would be too expensive to use liberally
(maybe honey?), and I'm really unsure about the tartaric acid, and what
they would have used to get that effect- someone else may have better
info.  But it sounds delicious, and I'm ALWAYS interested in the recipe.
