SC - Shortbread o'doom and Key lime pie resul

Hi, folks!

Remember the rock-hard shortbread?  Well, NASA didn't want it to tile the 
space shuttle, so I ground it up per the list's recommendation (in the 
blender, of all things, and it (the blender) survived) and made it into key 
lime pie crust.

Whereupon, as someone predicted, it turned out a little soggy.  Good, but 
soggy.  The top of the pie, OTOH, was an absolute unmitigated success (tart 
and sweet at the same time).  And now I'm rid of the remnants of my failed 
shortbread attempt(s), which frees me up to Try Again.
