	Well I do not know about Spanish... but French is a "Romance language"
enough I would say and...

	Knife===> masculine
	dagger===> feminine
	gladius===> masculine
	gladius sword===> feminine
	bastard sword===> feminine
	bastard===> masculine
	short sword===>feminine
	sword===> feminine
	Joyeuse===> obviously feminine
