I guess I should look gourds up in a garden book, but when I think of gourds-
I think of the things you grow for decorative and non-edible crafts.  I have
never seen one at a stage where you could or would eat it.  Are gourds and
squash not related then?  I thought gourds and winter squash were the same
family?
