According to Master Adamantius this may be a misnomer. "Rapeyes" would be a
closer term to describe this recipe. Rapes are definitely turnips.

IF the recipe is correctly named Rapes then this item is most likely turnips,
IMO.

The use of raw eggs as a binder would solve the crumbling problem.

Most likely Zante Currants e.g. Raisons of Corinth are meant here.

 All in all , Iwithout having recourse to the original recipe, IMHO, this is
one of the more bastardized recipes found in Fabulous Feasts. Other opinions
please?
