Last 12th Nite had to be rescheduled here in Skrael due to Ice Storm '98. In
the flyer for this event, being the usual 12th Night pot luck, people were
instructed to bring certain types of dishes as per their last mundane name
(we're all familiar with this practice) but the word dessert was incorrectly
spelled "desert". Most people took their cue and subsequently brought a
yummy dish to try, except this one ingenious couple...

They did a subtlety (sp?) type of dessert. Made out of gingerbread, they
constructed a desert setting complete with palm trees and camels! It was
absolutely hilarious and IIRC, a filk was made to commemorate this hilarious
turn of events!
