SC - OOP question: Snapdragon?

Our former Baron, who is himself an Anglophile and a fan of
Victorian parties, used to serve these.  Soak the raisins (don't
know how long) in some brandy.  Set out a shallow dish with
some number (small dozens) of raisins in a pool of the brandy
and light the alcohol.  Guests snatch the raisins from the
dish with their fingers while the brandy is burning, and pop them 
promptly into their mouths.  You don't burn your fingers,
surprisingly!
