The welcome message to this list suggested an introduction, and I am one
of those people who follows suggestions.

I'm Liam St. Liam, and I have been in the SCA almost six year (Hi,
Liam!)

What's most important here is that I enjoying working in kitchens and
use those opportunities to learn about period food. I freely admit to
being a relative beginner in the kitchen, but I wash dishes really
well. I am also a baronial seneschal, and MoL and since my lady is a
fencer, my SCA hobby is feeding fencers. I am fortunate enough to be an
esquire (protege) to Master Steffan ap Kennyd. At Pennsic, I camp with
and cook for the Shark Pit.

Mundanely, I am Bill Toscano, and I teach history, including World
History I at Ledyard (Conn.) High School. By my choice, World History I
ends at about 1600. Funny, that. I am planning a Medieval feast for the
kids and their parents this spring and would welcome (in private e-mail
if it's already been done on the List) suggestions about that.

In service,

Liam St. Liam
