SC - apothecary's kit?

Since it was asked that I post this, here it is.  Please yet again
remember this is an adaptation of a another recipe and I have no
documentation for this dish.  

Mushroom pastie with meat

2 9" pie crusts
1 pound hamburger
8 oz of grated parmesan cheese
1 pound of mushrooms (finely chopped)
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon of ginger
1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
black pepper to taste
1 Tablespoon oil (if you use a fattier hamburger you will not need the
additional oil)

Preheat oven to 350 deg.  Brown the ground beef, adding the onion powder
as it cooks let it cool to room temperature.  Take the mushrooms, the
cheese and the other spices and mix them together, then add the
hamburger.  Arrange the first pie crust in a 9" pie plate. Fill with the
mushroom mixture.  Put the top crust on, then use aluminum foil around
the edges of the crust (this keeps them from burning as the rest of the
pie cooks).  Bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for
another 10 minutes.
