Kill is such an ... untasteful word (as is formaldehyde).  Mayhaps we
should say that the formaldehyde PRESERVES everything in it.  Don't worry
about drinking the milk though, it is a low enough level of formaldehyde,
or some such derivation (I think it is actually more dillute than
formaldehyde which is 35% formalin) that it won't hurt you.
